2027 Capital Markets, Global Investment Banking Winter Analyst (4 Months)

About the role

RBC Capital Markets’ Global Investment Banking Winter Analyst Program offers undergraduates a four-month Toronto placement supporting transaction teams. Analysts work on debt and equity financings, mergers and acquisitions, and financial advisory assignments while developing analytical, communication, and teamwork skills through exposure to leading transactions and experienced professionals.

Responsibilities

• Support transaction teams with analytical tasks across debt and equity financings.
• Assist with mergers and acquisitions and other financial advisory assignments.
• Gain exposure to leading-edge transactions and learn from experienced industry professionals.

Candidate Profile

• Graduate from an undergraduate program in December 2027 or spring 2028.
• Demonstrate outstanding academic achievement and proven analytical skills.
• Show strong oral and written communication skills.
• Contribute meaningfully within a fast-paced, challenging team environment.
• Demonstrate initiative, eagerness to learn, and a desire to contribute.
• Bring diverse extracurricular activities and effective teamwork abilities.

Program Details

• Four-month Winter Analyst placement based in Toronto.
• Full-time student or co-op position with 37.5 work hours per week.
• Work within a dynamic, collaborative, progressive, and high-performing team.
