About the role

RBC Capital Markets offers a 10-week Summer Analyst internship in Corporate Banking for rising college seniors graduating in 2027 or 2028. The role involves credit analysis, due diligence, and collaboration across teams in a dynamic, full-service investment bank environment.

Role Responsibilities

  • Support 10+ Corporate Banking industry verticals in credit origination, execution, and portfolio management.
  • Analyze company filings, financial statements, and research during due diligence for new lending transactions.
  • Prepare internal credit presentations and credit submission documentation with detailed written analyses.
  • Collaborate with Investment Banking, Leveraged Finance, Risk Management, and other partners on business and financial analysis.
  • Assist senior team members with portfolio management, reporting, pipeline management, budgeting, and special projects.
  • Coordinate with back and middle office functions to set up transactions on internal systems.

Candidate Requirements

  • Enrolled in Bachelor's program in Business, Economics, Finance, Mathematics, or related field.
  • Graduating in Spring 2028 or December 2027.
  • Strong analytical and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Genuine interest in capital markets, finance, and banking.
  • Proficient in MS Office applications.

Preferred Qualifications

  • At least one relevant internship, preferably in financial services.
  • Basic understanding of loan and capital markets products.
