Join RBC's Digital Design team as a Winter 2027 Co-op Student to gain hands-on experience designing user-centered digital solutions. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance client experiences across multiple platforms in an in-person role in Toronto.

• Full-time, 37.5 hours per week, salaried position
• Location: RBC Waterpark Place, 88 Queens Quay W, Toronto, Canada
• Must be returning to school after August 2027 or require work term to graduate

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with teams to create user-centered digital experiences aligned with RBC goals
• Conduct user research and translate findings into actionable insights
• Design and prototype interfaces including wireframes and high-fidelity prototypes
• Develop reusable UI components and design system documentation
• Apply design principles and accessibility standards to optimize client experience
• Support usability testing and contribute to iterative design in agile environment

Requirements

• Some knowledge in interaction, visual, content design, or design research
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and collaboration skills
• Portfolio or examples of creative or problem-solving work required
• Passion for learning about user behavior, design principles, and technologies

Nice-to-Have Skills

• Familiarity with design tools like Figma, Sketch, Adobe Creative Suite
• Knowledge of web technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript
• Experience with data visualization or automation tools like Power BI, Tableau
• Ability to communicate complex technical insights to non-technical stakeholders
