About the role
Join RBC's CFO Group as a Data Enablement Co-Op to develop automation solutions and web applications leveraging big data. Collaborate across finance teams to enhance reporting and support data-driven decisions.
Role Responsibilities
- Coordinate development of automation solutions and web-based applications using big data.
- Collaborate with finance departments to improve reporting processes and stakeholder communication.
- Apply design thinking and agile methods to experiment and deliver new initiatives.
- Support data management including acquiring, transforming, and storing large data volumes.
- Work with cross-functional teams and manage stakeholder relationships.
Must-Have Qualifications
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with high initiative.
- Basic programming knowledge in Python and SQL.
- Experience in data extraction, transformation, and loading from diverse sources.
- Ability to multitask and work under pressure.
- Advanced skills in MS Excel and PowerPoint.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Nice-to-Have Qualifications
- Experience with Business Intelligence tools like Tableau.
- Familiarity with Capital Markets, Personal & Commercial Banking, Wealth Management.
- Experience in RBC Finance/Risk big data projects.
