About the role
Join RBC’s CFO Data & Automation team in Toronto for a four-month winter internship focused on transforming Finance processes. Under mentorship, you will analyze workflows, identify automation opportunities, and support delivery using RPA and low-code/no-code tools while building practical experience in process improvement, documentation, testing, and stakeholder collaboration.
Responsibilities
- Assess Finance processes with stakeholders, identifying redesign and automation opportunities under mentorship.
- Support RPA and other automation delivery through requirements gathering, testing, and implementation.
- Help develop process-improvement frameworks and manage the automation pipeline.
- Research and document automation and efficiency opportunities for Finance leaders.
- Promote self-service automation by preparing documentation and training materials for Finance staff.
- Help ensure automated processes are documented, controlled, and compliant with audit standards.
Placement Details
- Four-month winter placement in Toronto within RBC’s Office of the CFO Data & Automation team.
- Full-time student/co-op position requiring 37.5 hours per week.
- Collaborate with Finance teams across the organization on process improvement and sustainable automation.
