Join RBC as a Data Governance Summer Analyst supporting data management and governance initiatives. Assist with documentation, analysis, and implementation of data standards to ensure accurate and secure financial data.

Role Responsibilities
- Maintain and update data governance documentation like data dictionaries and metadata inventories.
- Collaborate with data stewards and technical teams to gather requirements for data standards.
- Map data flows and understand data movement between systems.
- Participate in governance meetings, providing note-taking and administrative support.
- Generate reports to communicate governance activities and progress to stakeholders.

Candidate Requirements
- Currently enrolled in Data Science, Information Management, Computer Science, Business Analytics, or related program.
- Proficient in Excel and familiar with SQL.
- Strong communication, documentation, and organizational skills.
- Ability to collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Preferred Skills
- Knowledge of financial statement analysis.
- Experience with data visualization tools like Tableau.
- Basic understanding of data management concepts such as data quality and stewardship.

Eligibility Criteria
- Must be returning to school after the work term or require the full work term to graduate.
- Position is a fixed-term student/co-op role with full-time hours (37.5 hours/week).
