About the role

Role Responsibilities
- Prepare income tax returns including T3 trust, T1 personal, and estate returns.
- Conduct financial analysis related to domestic mutual funds and partnerships.
- Provide administrative support by organizing and tracking tax data.
- Assist in preparing documentation and responding to tax audit requests.
- Research and analyze Canadian and international tax regulations for compliance.
- Support preparation and compliance of FATCA/CRS forms.
Candidate Requirements
- Pursuing a Bachelor in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel with data manipulation skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team.
- Excellent written, verbal communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Highly organized with attention to detail and accuracy.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with financial institutions or accounting firms.
- Knowledge of taxation for estate and trust products.
- Goal to pursue CPA designation.
Work Environment & Expectations
- Full-time, salaried student/co-op position with 37.5 hours per week.
- Locations in Toronto and Vancouver, Canada.
- Must be returning to school after the work term or require the term to graduate.
