About the role
Join RBC Wealth Management as a Winter Product Design intern to create user-centric digital financial experiences. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, prototype, and improve client offerings in a dynamic environment.
Role Responsibilities
- Create UX/UI visual concepts and user flows for testing and product delivery.
- Produce high fidelity prototypes to support product development.
- Collaborate with designers, developers, and product managers to shape user experiences.
- Conduct content audits, competitive analyses, and content mapping.
- Ensure accessibility and inclusive design for assistive technology users.
- Participate in correspondence management and gather product feedback.
Candidate Requirements
- Enrolled in a post-secondary Design program or related field, or equivalent experience.
- Experience writing for non-expert audiences.
- Strong interpersonal, presentation, and communication skills.
- Problem-solving skills and self-starting aptitude.
- Portfolio demonstrating visual design skills and creativity.
- Eagerness to collaborate and openness to feedback.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in banking or financial services.
- Understanding of product design process including research and prototyping.
- Knowledge of accessibility and inclusive design practices.
