2026 Wealth Management, Fall Technology/Developer (4-16 months)
RBC Wealth Management offers a 4-16 month fall co-op for Technology/Developer roles in Toronto and Vancouver. Candidates will engage in software development lifecycle tasks supporting investment processes.

Role and Responsibilities
- Participate in software design, implementation, and production rollout.
- Create and review technical design documents and facilitate design meetings.
- Develop and enhance web applications and monitor email queues for issues.
- Create ServiceNow tickets and maintain knowledge documents.
- Investigate and troubleshoot issues using available resources.

Additional Responsibilities
- Develop larger project features with Senior Engineers.
- Design, modify, and implement software using agile methods.
- Analyze requirements and execute test strategies.
- Conduct manual access reviews and role recertification.
- Guide stakeholders on RBC compliance standards.

Requirements - Must Have
- Major in computer science or equivalent education/experience.
- Experience with SQL, C#, Java, NodeJS, Python, Microsoft technologies.
- Knowledge of Java 8+ and Spring Framework (Spring Boot).
- Familiarity with web technologies: HTML, HTTP, JavaScript, CSS.
- Ability to work independently and in teams.

Requirements - Nice to Have
- Understanding of Active Directory.
- Knowledge of front-end frameworks like Angular and React.
- Familiarity with trading systems such as Bloomberg/Reuters.
- Experience with professional software engineering practices.
