2027 CAE, Winter Student, Internal Audit, Financial Crimes & AML (4 Months)

About the role

This four-month winter student placement joins RBC’s Internal Audit, Financial Crimes & Anti-Money Laundering Center of Excellence in Halifax/Bedford, Nova Scotia. You will support audits assessing FC&AML practices, issue remediation, and regulatory matters while collaborating with auditors, business stakeholders, and senior leaders in a dynamic environment.

Responsibilities

• Support professional auditors conducting audits focused on AML and compliance.
• Collaborate with Internal Audit teams to plan and execute audits effectively.
• Maintain productive relationships with key stakeholders throughout audit engagements.
• Participate in meetings covering audit results and open issue status.
• Assist with validating regulatory matters issued by relevant regulatory bodies.
• Support ongoing audit reviews with the Senior Manager and Director.

Eligibility and Work Details

• Return to school after the work term ends, or require the full term to graduate.
• The position is based in Bedford, Nova Scotia, with 37.5 hours per week.
• The role is full-time, salaried, and classified as a fixed-term student or co-op position.
