About the role
Four-month co-op internship in RBC Capital Markets Internal Audit, assessing controls, risk management, governance, and fraud prevention. The role provides exposure to Capital Markets businesses and products while supporting audit planning, execution, reporting, data analysis, regulatory requests, and operational improvements in a collaborative Toronto-based team.
Responsibilities
- Support integrated audits across Global Markets, Corporate and Investment Banking, and Capital Markets Operations.
- Develop, draft, and review audit recommendations, programs, and sampling techniques.
- Assess internal controls, risk management practices, and governance processes during audit engagements.
- Analyze datasets using visualization tools to identify patterns, trends, insights, and anomalies.
- Assist with regulatory requests, key projects, audits, and management self-reporting of control issues.
- Build constructive relationships while responding efficiently to Internal Audit and business stakeholder needs.
Eligibility
- Must be returning to school after the work term or require the full term to graduate.
- Work term completion must satisfy mandatory graduation requirements if graduating immediately afterward.
