2026 Global Investment Banking Internship - Frankfurt

About the role

RBC Capital Markets offers a three-month Investment Banking internship in Frankfurt, beginning November 1, 2026. Interns will support cross-sector M&A engagements through presentation preparation, financial modelling, company valuations, research, live transaction execution and client marketing, with ongoing training and mentoring in an international team environment.

Responsibilities

• Prepare presentations for client meetings and support client marketing activities.
• Build financial models and perform company valuations.
• Conduct research on various ad hoc topics.
• Support live transaction execution as part of a cross-sector Investment Banking team.
• Contribute to the team’s daily work in a fast-paced environment.

Training and Environment

• Receive ongoing training and mentoring throughout the internship.
• Work primarily on M&A engagements within an international, cross-sector team.
• Gain experience supporting an expanding Investment Banking operation in Frankfurt.

Requirements

• Outstanding academic record and proven analytical skills.
• Demonstrated interest in finance and participation in extracurricular activities.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Proven leadership capabilities, initiative and curiosity.
• Ability to contribute effectively as a team member in a challenging environment.
• Fluency in both German and English.
