About the role

Join Radix Trading as a Quantitative Technologist FPGA Engineer to design and maintain scalable FPGA systems enhancing trading performance and latency.

Responsibilities

  • Design and build new scalable FPGA systems.
  • Maintain and debug FPGA code.
  • Use Python for unit testing FPGA modules.
  • Simulate designs using Modelsim.
  • Innovate solutions to overcome current system limitations.

Key Capabilities

  • PhD in Electrical Engineering, Computer Architecture, or related field (in progress or completed).
  • Experience coding in VHDL/Verilog.
  • Proficient in Python for unit testing.
  • Familiar with Xilinx and/or Altera FPGAs.
  • Experience with Modelsim simulation tool.
  • Knowledge of networking protocols: IP, TCP, UDP.

Preferred Experience

  • Worked on large FPGA devices like Stratix V or Virtex UltraScale+.
  • Highly analytical with excellent communication skills.
  • Results-oriented, flexible, and a team player.
  • Self-guided with ability to work independently.
  • Fast learner capable of multitasking and iterative problem solving.
