About the role
Join Radix Trading as a Quantitative Technologist FPGA Engineer to design and maintain scalable FPGA systems enhancing trading performance and latency.
Responsibilities
- Design and build new scalable FPGA systems.
- Maintain and debug FPGA code.
- Use Python for unit testing FPGA modules.
- Simulate designs using Modelsim.
- Innovate solutions to overcome current system limitations.
Key Capabilities
- PhD in Electrical Engineering, Computer Architecture, or related field (in progress or completed).
- Experience coding in VHDL/Verilog.
- Proficient in Python for unit testing.
- Familiar with Xilinx and/or Altera FPGAs.
- Experience with Modelsim simulation tool.
- Knowledge of networking protocols: IP, TCP, UDP.
Preferred Experience
- Worked on large FPGA devices like Stratix V or Virtex UltraScale+.
- Highly analytical with excellent communication skills.
- Results-oriented, flexible, and a team player.
- Self-guided with ability to work independently.
- Fast learner capable of multitasking and iterative problem solving.
