About the role

Quantitative Research Internships at Qube Research & Technologies offer penultimate- and final-year students the opportunity to work on systematic research or trading problems. Interns develop predictive signals, analyse large datasets, support live strategy deployment, and learn from experienced researchers and traders across multiple global locations.

Role and responsibilities

  • Develop predictive signals by exploring large datasets, identifying patterns, forming hypotheses, and testing research ideas.
  • Distinguish promising signals from noise through iterative analysis and collaboration with other researchers.
  • Support live deployment by monitoring signal behaviour, tracking performance, and improving execution efficiency.
  • Investigate production strategies to identify risks and make systems more robust and scalable.
  • Use quantitative analysis and programming to understand live systems and determine potential improvements.
  • Work within systematic teams spanning high-, mid-, and low-frequency trading horizons.

Programme details

  • Internships last four to six months and start in 2027.
  • Opportunities are available in Aarhus, Budapest, Dubai, Geneva, London, Paris, and Zurich.
  • Programmes include penultimate-year and final-year internships, with some permanent opportunities.
  • Interns work on real research or trading problems in a rigorous, collaborative environment.

Recruitment process
