About the role

Join Qube Research & Technologies as an FPGA Engineer intern in Hong Kong for 3 to 6 months in 2027. Work on ultra-low-latency hardware systems supporting global trading platforms, gaining hands-on experience with FPGA design and programming.

Programme Details

• Duration: 3 to 6 months starting in 2027
• Location: Hong Kong
• Open to penultimate or final year Bachelor's, Master's, or PhD students

Role Responsibilities

• Design and build ultra-low-latency FPGA hardware systems for trading platforms
• Develop custom logic on FPGA devices to process market data and execute orders
• Use SystemVerilog, C++, and Python to deliver high-performance solutions

Candidate Requirements

• Passion for technology demonstrated through software or hardware projects
• Experience or coursework in HDL such as SystemVerilog, Verilog, or VHDL
• Programming skills in C++ and/or Python
• Understanding of digital logic design, computer architecture, and high-speed interfaces
• Familiarity with FPGA toolchains like Xilinx Vivado or Intel Quartus is a plus
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to optimize designs
