About the role

The 2027 San Francisco Summer Associate joins the Technology team, supporting M&A advisory assignments across software, internet and eCommerce, tech-enabled services, hardware, and semiconductors. The role combines financial analysis, valuation, industry research, client materials, due diligence, and deal execution within a collaborative banking environment.

Team

• The San Francisco Technology team collaborates with the New York Technology team.
• The team provides M&A advisory services across technology-related sectors.
• Coverage includes software, internet and eCommerce, tech-enabled and business services, hardware, and semiconductors.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and research company-specific and industry-specific financial information.
• Conduct complex quantitative analysis and financial valuation.
• Create client presentations and deliver industry knowledge and strategic business ideas.
• Engage in due diligence processes.
• Oversee advisory mandate execution as part of a deal team.

Program Experience

• Gain on-the-job experience through meaningful project responsibilities.
• Receive exposure to clients and senior bankers across the Firm.
• Complete a one-week training program and ongoing curriculum.
