Join the Discretionary Global Macro trading desk as a Trade Capture Specialist/Trading Assistant supporting trade lifecycle, execution, and booking across multiple asset classes. Work closely with PMs, analysts, and internal teams in London or Hong Kong.

About the Team
- 10-member Discretionary Global Macro trading desk across New York, London, and Hong Kong.
- Focus on best-execution cross asset and accurate trade booking for 55 macro pods globally.
- Covers Interest Rates, FX, Commodities, Credit, and Equities.
- Collaborates with PMs, Analysts, and internal partners including operations, margin, compliance, and legal.

Responsibilities
- Assist traders in all trade lifecycle aspects from pre-trade checks to execution and booking.
- Maintain positions including swap unwinds and bilateral novations.
- Serve as liaison with back office for reconciliation.
- Develop relationships with liquidity providers and trading counterparties.
- Contribute to development of trade capture systems and tools for existing and new products.

Requirements
- 1-2 years work experience preferred; training available for passionate candidates.
- Sound judgment handling high volumes of queries and issues.
- Strong market intuition and passion for studying markets.
- Team player with strong problem solving and communication skills.
- Understanding of order lifecycle and trade capture systems like Orchestrade and Murex preferred.
