About the role
Technical Business Analyst supporting Point72’s Trade Research team and its trading activity. The role coordinates technology, operations, trading, compliance, brokers, and third parties; improves workflows, manages trading connectivity, supports market-data evaluation, and addresses operational needs for quantitative researchers and portfolio managers.
Responsibilities
- Partner with Technology, Operations, Trading, Compliance, and other teams to deliver Trade Research projects.
- Design, improve, and document workflows that increase productivity and operational efficiency.
- Coordinate with brokers and third parties to implement trading connectivity and resolve operational issues.
- Streamline the evaluation, investigation, and purchasing processes for new market data.
- Build relationships across internal functions to support research teams and daily operational needs.
Requirements
- Strong project management and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize initiatives and deliver results.
- Technical fluency, including coding experience and familiarity with cloud technologies such as AWS.
- Ability to identify needs, solve problems, take ownership, and execute independently.
- Experience building partnerships across business and operations functions.
- Comfort working with market data, trading systems, brokers, and third-party providers.
- Strong communication, attention to detail, ethical standards, and a solutions-oriented mindset.
