2027 January Off-Cycle Analyst (Strategic Advisory & Restructuring) Milan

About the role

Six-month Milan internship in PJT Partners’ Strategic Advisory and Restructuring Group, running from January through June 2027. Analysts support complex transactions, financial analysis, client materials, research and execution, with potential consideration for a full-time Analyst return offer based on performance.

Programme Details

• Work across PJT Partners’ Strategic Advisory and Restructuring Group in Milan.
• Support transactions including acquisitions, divestitures, joint ventures, recapitalizations, private placements and leveraged buyouts.
• Potential consideration for a full-time Analyst return offer, subject to performance.

Responsibilities

• Perform financial analysis and modelling across transaction assignments.
• Draft client presentations and prepare internal and external memoranda.
• Conduct financial and business-related research to support advisory work.
• Coordinate complex, time-sensitive processes and assist with transaction execution.
• Participate in internal and client meetings, negotiations and due diligence sessions.
• Contribute actively to client-facing situations.

Qualifications

• Demonstrate outstanding qualitative, technical and analytical skills.
• Communicate strongly in verbal and written formats.
• Work collaboratively while managing priorities effectively under pressure.
• Show robust organizational, time-management skills and a strong work ethic.
• Possess basic knowledge of accounting and corporate finance.
• Have excellent academic, leadership and extracurricular records.

Eligibility and Application

• Be enrolled full-time at university or be a recent graduate with graduation no earlier than June 2026.
• Have a graduation date no later than June 2027 and be available to start January 2027.
