About the role
PJT Partners is offering a five-month London off-cycle internship beginning January 2027 through May 2027. Analysts will work across Strategic Advisory and Restructuring & Special Situations, supporting financial analysis, modelling, research, client materials and transaction processes, with potential consideration for a full-time Analyst return offer based on performance.
Programme
- Five-month programme running from January 2027 through May 2027.
- Work across the Strategic Advisory and Restructuring & Special Situations Groups in London.
- Successful interns may be considered for a full-time Analyst return offer, subject to performance.
Responsibilities
- Support transactions including sell-side and buy-side acquisitions, divestitures, joint ventures, recapitalizations, private placements and leveraged buyouts.
- Perform financial analysis and modelling for advisory and restructuring assignments.
- Draft client presentations and prepare internal and external memoranda.
- Conduct financial and business-related research to support transaction work.
- Coordinate complex, time-sensitive processes and assist with transaction execution.
- Attend internal and client meetings, negotiations and due diligence sessions.
Requirements
- Currently enrolled as a full-time university student or a recent graduate.
- Graduation must be no earlier than June 2026 and no later than June 2027.
- Available to start the programme in January 2027.
- Strong qualitative, technical, analytical, verbal and written communication skills.
- Collaborative, organized and able to manage time effectively under pressure.
- Basic knowledge of accounting and corporate finance, with a strong academic, leadership or extracurricular record.
