About the role
PJT Camberview seeks 2027 Summer Analysts in San Francisco to support shareholder advisory work focused on corporate governance. Analysts will research governance and activism trends, prepare client materials, support engagements with company leadership and investors, and work directly with senior team members across multiple assignments after completing training.
Responsibilities
- Support client mandates by understanding companies, businesses, governance structures and shareholder profiles.
- Analyze corporate governance and proxy voting issues facing public companies.
- Help develop advisory plans addressing governance, activism and shareholder matters.
- Prepare management, board and investor presentations on corporate governance issues.
- Research institutional investors, peer practices, market developments and governance or activism trends.
- Prepare senior team members for client meetings and support broader research materials.

- Demonstrate outstanding qualitative, technical and analytical skills.
- Communicate effectively in written and verbal formats.
- Work collaboratively within client teams and a small advisory environment.
- Show strong organization, time management and ability to work under pressure.
- Possess a strong work ethic and excellent academic, leadership and extracurricular records.
Program And Application
- Complete training before participating in client work, business development and research assignments.
- Currently enrolled as an undergraduate student with graduation anticipated between Fall 2027 and Spring 2028.
