About the role
PJT Partners offers a 6-month off-cycle analyst internship in Madrid starting July 2027. Interns will work across Strategic Advisory and Restructuring & Special Situations, gaining experience in complex financial transactions and client engagements.
Programme Details
- 6-month internship from July to December 2027 in Madrid.
- Work across Strategic Advisory and Restructuring & Special Situations teams.
- Exposure to diverse industries including financial institutions, healthcare, and technology.
- Involvement in large, complex transactions and high-profile reorganizations.
Responsibilities
- Perform financial analysis and modeling.
- Draft client presentations and prepare memoranda.
- Conduct financial and business research.
- Coordinate complex, time-sensitive processes.
- Assist in transaction execution and client meetings.
- Engage actively in client-facing situations.
Qualifications
- Highly motivated with excellent academic and leadership records.
- Strong qualitative, technical, and analytical skills.
- Effective verbal and written communication abilities.
- Ability to work collaboratively in teams.
- Robust organizational and time management skills.
- Basic knowledge of accounting and corporate finance.
Requirements
- Currently enrolled full-time student or recent graduate (no earlier than June 2026).
- Graduation anticipated by June 2028.
- Available to start beginning July 2027.
