About the role
Old Mission is hiring a Floor Trader for its 2027 Graduate Program in Chicago. After comprehensive training, the successful candidate will trade on the CBOE floor in an open outcry environment, execute trades verbally, collaborate with traders, and build relationships with floor brokers.
Responsibilities
- Verbally execute trades and expand the firm’s presence on the trading floor.
- Communicate effectively with upstairs traders and other floor traders.
- Create and maintain relationships with floor brokers.
- Use proprietary pricing strategies in a collaborative, open outcry trading environment.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree.
- Make quick decisions under stress and with incomplete information.
- Outgoing personality and ability to work well with others.
- Strong problem-solving, attention to detail, and multitasking skills.
- Good risk management, organizational, and communication skills.
- Competitive mindset, desire to win, and commitment to continuous improvement.
