Quantitative Trader - 2027 Micro-Internship Program (January Start)

About the role

Old Mission’s Chicago-based Quantitative Trader Micro-Internship offers students graduating in December 2027 or May 2028 exposure to trading strategies, mock trading, quantitative research, and software development. Participants join an education program covering financial markets and trading through classes and on-the-job learning, with housing and $2,500 weekly compensation.

Responsibilities

• Explore new trading strategies and participate in mock trading activities.
• Conduct quantitative research related to trading and financial markets.
• Develop software supporting quantitative trading activities.
• Participate in formal classes and on-the-job learning through the firm’s education program.
