2027 - Investment Banking Off Cycle Internship – Frankfurt (July Q3 or October Q4 start)

About the role

Three-month off-cycle internship in Nomura’s Frankfurt-based Germany coverage team, supporting advisory, financing and risk solutions for private equity firms and corporates. Interns receive direct exposure to senior bankers, structured training, international collaboration and practical experience preparing marketing materials and executing live investment banking mandates.

Responsibilities

• Support the Frankfurt Investment Banking Division team with marketing materials and live mandate execution.
• Work alongside colleagues in London, Zurich and other Nomura offices worldwide.
• Gain direct exposure to senior bankers and contribute to client projects.

Team and Training

• Join the Germany coverage team, advising private equity firms and corporates across all sectors.
• Support advisory, financing and risk solutions, including mergers and acquisitions and leveraged finance mandates.
• Complete a structured one-week training programme.

Requirements

• Fluency in German and English is essential.
• Demonstrate strong academic and extracurricular achievement.
• Be able to withstand a rapidly changing and demanding working environment.
