About the role
Nomura Asset Management International’s Sustainability Summer Analyst internship in Philadelphia runs for 10 weeks. Interns support ESG integration, sustainable investment analysis, ESG data systems, sustainability research, and regulatory initiatives while gaining exposure to investment products and data providers. The program offers hands-on team experience and is not rotational.
Responsibilities
- Learn ESG frameworks and sustainable finance regulations, including the Sustainable Finance Disclosure Regulation.
- Maintain and enhance ESG data systems and proprietary databases, including UN Sustainable Development Goals alignment frameworks.
- Research emerging sustainability topics, including biodiversity, climate risk, and social impact metrics.
- Gain exposure to sustainable investment products, ESG data providers, and industry classification systems.
- Support sector-specific ESG analysis and materiality assessments.
Program Experience
- Work within Nomura Asset Management International’s Sustainability team as a full member of the team.
- Receive exposure to Nomura professionals through discussion groups, seminars, and informal social functions.
- Work closely with peers and interact regularly with a senior mentor.
- Build working relationships and demonstrate commitment to the firm’s goals and values.
