2027 - Global Markets - Rates Sales - 6 Month Off Cycle Internship – Paris

About the role

Six-month internship with Nomura’s Paris Rates Sales team, covering French and European institutional clients. The role provides exposure to fixed-income products, including bonds and derivatives, daily sales-desk activity, client needs, market comments, programming-enabled process automation, and collaboration with trading and sales teams globally.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Paris Rates Sales team covering French and European institutional clients.
• Support daily sales-desk tasks and develop understanding of market comments and desk operations.
• Gain exposure to bonds, derivatives, and clients’ fixed-income needs.
• Interact regularly with trading teams across the UK, Europe, Asia, and the US.
• Help develop programming tools to automate processes and tasks.

Programme and Application

• Complete a six-month internship with Nomura’s France Rates Sales team in Paris.
• Available placement periods are January to June 2027 or July to December 2027.
