About the Role
- Interns join the Italian coverage team focused on M&A and capital raising.
- Support senior colleagues with process documentation and valuation analysis.
- Gain exposure to origination and execution projects with increasing responsibility.
- Collaborate with Nomura teams across geographies and product lines.
- Develop presentation and analytical skills using PowerPoint and Excel.
Team and Work Environment
- Italian coverage team has a strong track record in M&A transactions.
- Works closely with other Nomura teams for country and industry expertise.
- Covers all sectors across Italy, offering a steep learning curve.
- Recent deals include Bain Capital, TPG Rise, Blackstone, and Enel.
- Team supports clients from origination to execution phases.
Candidate Requirements
- Fluency in Italian and English is essential.
- High academic and extracurricular achievement expected.
- Ability to thrive in a demanding, fast-paced environment.
- Penultimate or final year students graduating 2027 or 2028.
- Available for full-time employment starting July 2027 or 2028.
