About the role
Nomura offers a 6-month off-cycle internship in Investment Banking based in Madrid, focusing on M&A, capital-raising, and risk management for Iberian clients. Interns gain hands-on experience with live transactions and cross-office collaboration.
Role and Responsibilities
- Interns join the Iberia coverage team for 6 months.
- Provide M&A, capital-raising, and risk management solutions.
- Work with teams across 30+ countries and offices.
- Participate in full transaction cycles from deal identification to execution.
- Develop analytical and technical skills from day one.
- Contribute to live transactions and investment banking deliverables.
About the Team
- Iberian team covers clients in Spain and Portugal across industries.
- Team operates within Nomura’s global network spanning East and West.
- Focus on strategic advice and capital solutions.
- Includes recent coverage of renewables and energy sectors.
- Part of Nomura’s global Investment Banking Division.
- Supports clients with advisory and capital-raising solutions.
Candidate Requirements
- Fluency in Spanish and English is essential.
- High academic and extracurricular achievement required.
- Ability to thrive in a demanding, fast-changing environment.
- Final year students graduating in 2027 or recent graduates eligible.
- Passion for teamwork and individual excellence.
- Available for full-time employment starting January or July 2027.
