2027 MUFG UK Apprenticeship Programme: Strategy and Business Reporting

About the role

Join MUFG’s two-year London apprenticeship in Strategy & Business Reporting, supporting GCIB management through deal screening, client and transaction data, reporting, forecasting, analytics and business planning. You will gain hands-on banking experience, work with multiple teams, receive coaching and mentoring, and study toward the Level 6 Financial Services Professional qualification.

Responsibilities

• Gain exposure to deal screening, data management, reporting and business planning activities.
• Support reviews of new business opportunities and deals.
• Maintain important business and client data.
• Produce reports and analysis supporting business decisions.
• Assist with forecasting, planning and business performance tracking.
• Work with Front Office, Credit, Finance, Product and Business Management teams.

Learning and development

• Develop communication, stakeholder management and organisational skills.
• Learn how Corporate and Investment Banking businesses operate.
• Build data analysis, reporting and business insight skills.
• Develop business planning and forecasting techniques.
• Gain commercial, analytical and operational investment banking experience from day one.
• Receive support from coaches, mentors, a buddy and team members.

Requirements

• Strong interest in financial markets.
• Strong A-Levels.
• GCSEs or equivalent qualifications in English and Mathematics at grade 7 or above.
• Strong interpersonal skills and high motivation and integrity.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent attention to detail, accuracy and an innovative mindset.
