2027 MUFG UK Analyst Programme: Global Markets – Markets Engineering

About the role

The 18-month MUFG Analyst Programme places graduates in Global Markets Markets Engineering, building technology and quantitative systems for pricing, valuation, risk, analytics, trade processing, market data, and regulatory controls. Candidates should have strong mathematical and programming interests, financial-markets interest, communication skills, motivation, integrity, and attention to detail.

Role and Responsibilities

• Build and maintain pricing and valuation libraries and platforms for vanilla and exotic products.
• Implement, integrate, and productionise quantitative models from Quant Research in robust, testable code.
• Develop risk analytics including sensitivities, scenario and stress frameworks, VaR, and FRTB-SA capital calculations.
• Support market data, curve and surface construction, trade capture, and lifecycle processing.
• Deliver margin, PnL attribution, consensus submissions, and model-governance controls.
