2027 MUFG UK Summer Analyst Programme: Structured Trading Group

About the role

MUFG’s 10-week London Summer Analyst Programme offers penultimate-year students exposure to structured derivatives trading, market making and risk management across interest rates, FX and cross-asset products. Interns receive technical training, support pricing and portfolio analysis, develop trading tools, research ideas and may progress to the following year’s full-time Analyst Programme.

Responsibilities

• Gain exposure to structured derivatives trading, market making and risk management across rates, FX and cross-asset products.
• Support derivatives pricing and analyse market trends and trading opportunities.
• Assist with portfolio risk analysis and trade lifecycle management.
• Contribute to trading tools and desk analytics development.
• Research trade ideas and prepare materials for internal and client discussions.

Programme Details

• Complete one week of technical training covering products and markets.
• Work with the Structured Trading Group as part of a dynamic trading team.
• Receive support from an allocated buddy during the analyst experience.
• Successful interns may receive an offer for the following year’s full-time Analyst Programme.

Key Dates

• Applications close on 29 November 2026; applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
• Assessment centre takes place in February 2027.
• The programme starts on 21 June 2027.
