About the role
MUFG’s 18-month Risk Analyst Programme offers up to three rotations across risk disciplines, including credit, market and liquidity, operational, and enterprise risk. Analysts analyse exposures, monitor portfolios, prepare reports, and support controls and regulatory activities while developing technical, commercial, and stakeholder-management skills in London.
Responsibilities
- Analyse risk exposures and support risk assessments.
- Monitor portfolios and identify emerging risks.
- Conduct data analysis and prepare risk reports.
- Support governance, controls, and regulatory activities.
- Contribute to risk management projects and initiatives.
- Prepare presentations and materials for senior stakeholders.
Programme Structure
- Complete up to three rotations across different risk disciplines.
- Potential rotations include Credit Risk, Market and Liquidity Risk, Operational Risk Management, and Enterprise Risk Management.
- Work closely with experienced professionals and build technical expertise.
- Develop commercial awareness and stakeholder-management skills.
- Receive support from programme peers, a buddy, and a mentor.
Training
- Complete a comprehensive training curriculum at the beginning of the 18-month programme.
- Build understanding of MUFG’s products, clients, and business strategy.
- Continue professional development throughout the programme.

Eligibility and Key Dates
- Be in the final year of study or have graduated within the last 12 months.
- Applications close on 25 October 2026; applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
- Assessment centres take place on 20 and 27 November 2026.
- The programme starts on 19 July 2027.
