About the role
A two-year London apprenticeship supporting Treasury Operations at MUFG. You will gain hands-on experience processing foreign exchange and money market trades, supporting settlements, maintaining records, resolving queries and improving processes while earning a salary and working toward a Level 4 Investment Operations Specialist qualification.
Responsibilities
- Support processing and settlement of foreign exchange and money market trades.
- Help ensure transactions are completed accurately and on time.
- Assist with trade confirmations, event management and operational activities.
- Review and maintain records, reports and documentation.
- Collaborate with teams to resolve queries and support business activities.
- Contribute to projects and process improvements within the team.
Learning and Support
- Learn how financial markets and investment banking operations work.
- Understand the trade lifecycle from execution through to settlement.
- Develop problem-solving, organisation and stakeholder management skills.
- Gain experience using industry systems and tools supporting trading activities.
- Receive support from coaches, a buddy, mentors and industry professionals.
- Work toward a recognised Level 4 Investment Operations Specialist qualification.
Requirements
- Strong interest in financial markets.
- GCSE English or equivalent qualification at grade 4 or above.
- GCSE Mathematics or equivalent qualification at grade 6 or above.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, analytical and problem-solving skills.
- High motivation, integrity, attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to generate innovative and creative ideas.
