2027 MUFG UK Summer Analyst Programme: Global Corporate Investment Banking

About the role

The 10-week MUFG Summer Analyst Programme offers penultimate-year students practical experience in global corporate and investment banking. Participants receive technical training, rotate across two business areas, support live projects, conduct research and analysis, prepare materials, attend meetings, and build professional networks.

Responsibilities

• Support live projects across corporate and investment banking business areas.
• Conduct research and analysis to support team activities and client work.
• Prepare materials and attend team meetings alongside experienced colleagues.
• Work with Coverage teams connecting clients to relevant investment banking products and solutions.

Programme Experience

• Complete bespoke technical training covering financial products and markets.
• Rotate across two business areas during the 10-week programme.
• Receive supplemental training, ongoing feedback, and support from an allocated buddy.
• Build internal and external networks through exposure to employees across the organisation.
• Successful interns may receive an offer for the following year’s full-time Analyst Programme.

Key Dates

• The programme starts on 21 June 2027.
• Applications close on 29 November 2026; applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
• The assessment centre is scheduled for February 2027.
