About the role
MUFG’s 10-week Summer Analyst Programme offers penultimate-year students insight into investment banking and capital markets. Based in London, interns will experience bond and loan origination, market analysis, client marketing, documentation, syndication, and interaction with sales and trading. Successful interns may receive an offer for the following year’s full-time Analyst Programme.
Responsibilities
- Gain exposure to the full bond and loan origination process.
- Conduct company, industry, primary market, and secondary market analysis.
- Support client marketing and prepare presentation materials.
- Assist with the documentation process.
- Work with the syndicate team and MUFG’s sales and trading platform.
Programme Support
- Complete technical training covering products and markets during the first programme week.
- Learn from experienced professionals and receive support from an allocated buddy.
- Successful interns may receive an offer for the following year’s full-time Analyst Programme.
Requirements
- Be in your penultimate year of study.
- Demonstrate a strong interest in financial markets.
- Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Show motivation, integrity, analytical ability, and problem-solving skills.
- Demonstrate attention to detail, accuracy, innovation, and creative thinking.
