2027 MUFG UK Analyst Programme: Global Corporate Investment Banking

About the role

MUFG’s 18-month Global Corporate and Investment Banking Analyst Programme offers three rotations across Coverage and Investment Banking Products. You will build expertise in clients, financing products and business strategy through structured training, while learning from experienced professionals and receiving ongoing support from mentors and buddies.

Role and Rotations

• Complete three rotations across Coverage and Investment Banking Products before choosing a specialism.
• Build understanding of client businesses, needs and how MUFG can provide support.
• Work across financing products including Aviation, Commodity Finance, Corporate Advisory, Leveraged Finance, Project Finance and Securitisation.
• Develop client relationships and help deliver appropriate services and financial solutions.

Programme and Development

• The 18-month programme begins with comprehensive training covering products, clients and business strategy.
• Learn from experienced professionals while building connections with peers across the Analyst cohort.
• Receive ongoing development support from approachable senior colleagues, a buddy and a mentor.

Key Dates

• Applications close on 25 October 2026; applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
• Assessment centres are scheduled for 20 and 27 November 2026.
• The programme starts on 19 July 2027.

Requirements

• Strong interest in financial markets, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• High motivation and integrity, supported by strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy, with innovative and creative thinking.
• Be in the final year of study or have graduated within the last 12 months.
