Financial Planning (Expense Management) Intern

About the role

This Singapore-based internship supports MUFG’s GCIB APAC Financial Planning team with expense and headcount analysis, reporting, data reconciliation, and management insights. You will work with large datasets, explain historical trends, validate strategies, and support forecasting while collaborating with teams across countries. The internship runs from 11 January to 30 June 2027.

Responsibilities

• Support in-depth business analysis of GCIB APAC expenses and headcount-related matters.
• Manage datasets and reporting while maintaining data integrity across datasets.
• Reconcile data and reports, following up on required changes.
• Collaborate with teams and countries on data requests and support.
• Generate insights by explaining historical trends, validating strategies, and supporting forecasting.

Eligibility and Application

• The internship is based in Singapore and open only to Singaporean and permanent-resident students.
• MUFG internship partners include NUS, NTU, SMU, SUTD, and SUSS.
