Enterprise Architecture Intern

About the role

Six-month Enterprise Architecture internship with MUFG’s System Office for Asia – Regional Enterprise Architecture team in Singapore. You will analyse and improve system designs, collaborate on AI, cloud, microservices, integrations and data initiatives, prototype and test solutions, document architecture, and create training materials for users.

Responsibilities

• Analyse existing system designs and standards, and propose improvements.
• Work with teams on functional and process design for project requirements.
• Collaborate on initiatives involving AI, cloud, microservices, integrations and data.
• Prototype and test solutions while collaborating across teams.
• Document solutions architecture and lessons learned from explorations and accelerated incubation.
• Develop training materials and deliver technology talks to users.

Technical Requirements

• Knowledge of software development, design best practices and multi-tier system architecture.
• Understanding of AI, including OpenAI, generative AI and agentic AI.
• Basic understanding of cloud platforms such as Azure and AWS.
• Knowledge of containerisation tools, including Docker and Kubernetes.
• Basic understanding of service orchestration, messaging systems and SQL or NoSQL databases.
• Knowledge of Agile methodologies and DevOps practices.

Eligibility

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, computer engineering, information technology or a related field.
• Open only to Singaporean and Singapore permanent resident students.
• MUFG’s Singapore internship partners include NUS, NTU, SMU, SUTD and SUSS.
