About the role
Corporate Banking Intern in MUFG’s Singapore team, supporting relationship managers across local corporates, global subsidiary banking, and financial institutions. Responsibilities include client coverage, financing transaction execution, deal-cycle support, presentations, financial analysis, and internal approvals. The internship offers exposure to multiple banking products and opportunities to present projects to stakeholders.
Responsibilities
- Assist relationship managers with coverage of Singapore direct-coverage clients across corporate banking teams.
- Support origination, business proposals, deal execution, and post-deal monitoring throughout the transaction lifecycle.
- Support execution of corporate financing transactions for clients.
- Prepare client presentations and develop relationships through deal execution and pitching.
- Prepare internal materials and assist with internal approval processes.
- Present projects or case studies to business partners and management.
Development and Exposure
- Work with experienced stakeholders and collaborate across Global Markets, Debt Capital Markets, and Transaction Banking.
- Develop presentation and communication skills through project and case-study presentations.
- Gain exposure to different banking products while working within the Corporate Banking Singapore team.
