Corporate Banking Intern - Global Subsidiary Banking Singapore

About the role

Corporate Banking Intern in MUFG’s Singapore team, supporting relationship managers across local corporates, global subsidiary banking, and financial institutions. Responsibilities include client coverage, financing transaction execution, deal-cycle support, presentations, financial analysis, and internal approvals. The internship offers exposure to multiple banking products and opportunities to present projects to stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Assist relationship managers with coverage of Singapore direct-coverage clients across corporate banking teams.
• Support origination, business proposals, deal execution, and post-deal monitoring throughout the transaction lifecycle.
• Support execution of corporate financing transactions for clients.
• Prepare client presentations and develop relationships through deal execution and pitching.
• Prepare internal materials and assist with internal approval processes.
• Present projects or case studies to business partners and management.

Development and Exposure

• Work with experienced stakeholders and collaborate across Global Markets, Debt Capital Markets, and Transaction Banking.
• Develop presentation and communication skills through project and case-study presentations.
• Gain exposure to different banking products while working within the Corporate Banking Singapore team.
