About the role
This Singapore-based internship supports MUFG’s Commodity Trade Finance team within the Asian Investment Banking Division. You will contribute to credit application analysis, commodity industry research, Relationship Manager support, transaction marketing, and onboarding or KYC-related projects while developing exposure to banking products and structured financing.
Responsibilities
- Prepare financial analysis for credit application proposals.
- Partner with Relationship Managers to understand banking products and structured financing.
- Research commodity-related industries to support credit application proposals.
- Provide transaction marketing support to Relationship Managers.
- Support ad hoc team projects, including client onboarding and KYC-related activities.
Requirements
- Background in accounting, finance, and/or business administration.
- Fundamental understanding of accounting and financial analysis.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
- Strong business writing skills.
- Open to Singaporean and permanent-resident students only.
