Role Summary
- Manage underwriting and portfolio of Japanese corporate loan clients, focusing on complex, non-investment grade customers.
- Handle subsidiary lending with large credit exposures and structured finance transactions.
- Perform due diligence and credit risk analysis to determine accurate ratings.
- Prepare credit applications following bank policies and procedures.
- Maintain communication with borrowers and internal stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities
- Conduct regular credit reviews and analyze credit risk for designated portfolio.
- Lead moderate complexity new deals from credit underwriting perspective with some supervision.
- Advise account officers on credit risk issues and deal structuring.
- Ensure compliance with external regulations and internal credit policies.
- Support junior analysts and assist managers in training and credit risk management.

Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field; MBA/CFA is a plus.
- 3-5 years experience in credit risk or related financial roles in large institutions.
- Proficient in MS Office; knowledge of banking applications is a plus.
- Strong multitasking, time management, and organizational skills.
- Sound knowledge of finance, accounting, legal, and regulatory aspects of commercial banking.

Work Arrangement
- Work four days per week at MUFG office or client sites, one day remote.
- Engage with diverse teams and stakeholders to manage credit risk effectively.
