MUFG's 2027 Operations Summer Analyst Program in Tampa offers a 10-week internship for rising seniors and first-year graduate students to gain hands-on experience in banking operations, including loan reconciliation, payments, and project management.
Program Details
- 10-week summer internship for rising seniors and first-year graduate students.
- Work four days onsite and one day remotely each week.
- Gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced banking environment.
- Participate in projects and team assignments to build financial skills.

- Receive mentorship from assigned program mentors.
Responsibilities
- Reconcile business transactions and track cash flow.
- Support commercial loans, trade services, payments, and enterprise services.
- Plan, execute, and monitor global initiatives and projects.
- Assist with loan documentation and syndicated loan servicing.
- Analyze data to identify trends and improve payment operations.
- Develop and maintain technical and governance documentation.
Placement Groups
- Commercial Loans: Member, Agency, and Middle Office roles.
- Enterprise Services: Internal Control Unit and Productivity Enablers.
- Payments: Data Analyst role focusing on process improvement.
- Transformation, Regulation, and Governance roles.
- Business Management opportunities.
Qualifications
- Preferred GPA of 3.0 or above.
- Graduating Winter 2027 or Spring 2028 from accredited institutions.
- Authorized to work in the U.S. without visa sponsorship.
- Strong Excel and computer skills.
- Exposure to process design, change management preferred.
- Strong analytical, detail-oriented, and communication skills.
Compensation and Benefits
