Responsibilities

  • Conduct detailed analysis and due diligence for new opportunities in power, natural resources, and infrastructure sectors.
  • Review market studies, engineering reports, financial models, statements, contracts, and legal analyses.
  • Model complex financial projections including cash flows, debt financing, and tax structures in Excel.
  • Analyze credit documentation, term sheets, and bank products to meet client needs.
  • Negotiate covenants in financing documentation related to financial ratios and reporting.

Additional Responsibilities

  • Support project finance deals from origination through closing and liaise with Portfolio Group.
  • Advise clients on commercial and financial structures for non-recourse debt financing.
  • Prepare marketing materials using PowerPoint and Word relevant to sector opportunities.
  • Analyze new transactions and prepare credit applications for internal credit team review.
  • Manage internal compliance and execution processes including KYC, profitability analysis, approvals, and legal due diligence.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Economics, Business, Commerce, Finance, Engineering, or related field.
  • 1-2 years of related accounting or financial services experience, preferably in project finance.
  • Experience with project finance transactions in power, natural resources, or transportation infrastructure sectors preferred.

Compensation and Benefits

  • Base pay range $110k-$120k depending on experience and location.
