About the role
MUFG’s 18-month graduate Analyst Programme in Amsterdam combines three six-month firmwide rotations with a final placement in Risk Management. Participants receive five weeks of entry training in London, then gain experience across operational, market and liquidity risk, supported by mentors, buddies, and ongoing development.
Programme Structure
- Complete three six-month rotations across three business areas before joining a Risk Management team.
- The programme starts on 19 July 2027 with five weeks of entry training in London.
- Return to Amsterdam after training to complete the programme and on-desk rotations.
- Receive support from experienced professionals, a buddy, and a mentor throughout the programme.
Responsibilities
- Identify, assess, monitor, and report operational risks and internal incidents across the organisation.
- Support Risk and Control Self-Assessment processes and maintain risk data in the GRC system.
- Participate in control testing and assess the effectiveness of key operational controls.
- Monitor and analyse market and liquidity risk exposures across the bank.
- Support risk frameworks covering IRRBB, traded market risk, liquidity risk, and stress testing.
- Review risk data, assumptions, and models; prepare reports for senior stakeholders and governance committees.
Training And Development
- Complete a comprehensive curriculum covering MUFG’s products, clients, and business strategy.
- Build knowledge and confidence through structured training before transitioning into the role.
- Access ongoing development opportunities and bank-funded training and external courses.
Requirements
- Be in the final year of study or have graduated within the last 12 months at MSc level.
- Show a strong interest in financial markets and demonstrate strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Demonstrate excellent communication, interpersonal skills, attention to detail, and accuracy.
- Bring high motivation, integrity, innovation, and the ability to generate creative ideas.
- Be willing to relocate to the Netherlands.
- Knowledge of Python is preferred.
