2027 MUFG Analyst Programme: COO Domain Track

About the role

Join MUFG’s 18-month Amsterdam Analyst Programme in the COO Domain, completing three six-month rotations before moving into a permanent team. Gain exposure to resilience, operations, middle office, client support, technology and related control functions, supported by London training, mentoring and development.

Role and Rotations

• Complete three six-month rotations across three business areas before transitioning into a permanent COO Domain role.
• Gain exposure to business continuity, operational resilience and third-party governance through Resilience teams.
• Learn about transaction processing, controls, front-office oversight, risk, credit and operational governance.
• Potentially support KYC, AML, sanctions, client data management, IT services, infrastructure, applications and cybersecurity activities.

Training and Development

• Begin with five weeks of entry training at MUFG’s EMEA headquarters in London.
• Complete a comprehensive curriculum covering products, clients and business strategy during the 18-month programme.
• Receive support from experienced colleagues, a buddy and mentor, alongside peer networking and ongoing development.

Requirements

• Be in your final year of study or have graduated within the last 12 months at MSc level.
• Demonstrate a strong interest in financial markets and excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Show high motivation, integrity, strong analytical abilities and effective problem-solving skills.
• Have excellent attention to detail and accuracy, with the ability to generate creative ideas.
• Be willing to relocate to the Netherlands.

Compensation and Benefits

• Receive 30 vacation days annually, with the option to purchase up to 15 additional days.

Location and Application

• The programme starts on 19 July 2027 with London entry training, followed by rotations in Amsterdam.
