2027 MUFG Analyst Programme: Finance Track

About the role

An 18-month Finance Analyst Programme in Amsterdam, featuring three six-month rotations across financial planning, ESG reporting, accounting and data management. After rotations, analysts join a Finance team permanently. The programme begins with five weeks of entry training in London and offers a gross annual salary of €47,000–€50,000.

Rotations and Responsibilities

• Support budgeting, forecasting, financial analysis, management reporting and business planning activities.
• Contribute to ESG disclosures, carbon accounting, reporting technology, sustainability metrics and governance frameworks.
• Assist with financial close processes, balance sheet reconciliations, accounting entries, reporting compliance and audit activities.
• Support data strategy, data quality, governance controls, regulatory assessments, remediation and critical data element management.
• Collaborate with stakeholders across Finance, Risk, Compliance, Human Resources, Operations, Technology and business teams.
• Complete three rotations before joining a permanent team within the Finance Domain.

Programme and Development

• The 18-month programme includes three six-month rotations followed by a final Finance Domain placement.
• A five-week entry training curriculum begins at MUFG’s EMEA headquarters in London.
• Training covers products, clients and business strategy, with ongoing development supported by peers, mentors and buddies.
• The programme starts on 19 July 2027; analysts then return to Amsterdam for rotations and on-desk work.
• Candidates must be willing to relocate to the Netherlands.

Requirements

• Be in the final year of study or have graduated within the last 12 months at MSc level.
• Demonstrate a strong interest in financial markets and strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Have excellent communication, interpersonal, attention-to-detail and accuracy skills.
• Show high motivation, integrity, innovation and the ability to generate creative ideas.

Compensation and Benefits

• Annual gross salary is €47,000–€50,000, with a discretionary bonus of up to 20% of annual salary.
• Benefits include an 8% holiday allowance, 13th-month payment and 30 vacation days annually.
