About the role
The Hong Kong Global Markets Summer Internship offers penultimate-year students practical exposure to financial markets, including research, data analysis, desk reporting, market monitoring, client needs, pricing, liquidity and risk. Interns work across desks and functions, receive training and guidance, and may build a pathway toward future opportunities with MUFG.
Responsibilities
- Support market and product research, data analysis, desk reporting, and briefing-material preparation.
- Monitor market developments and summarise trends, movements, and potential business implications.
- Gain exposure to Global Markets areas, client activities, and market-risk management.
- Contribute to assigned projects and presentations while developing analytical, communication, and technical skills.
Programme Experience
- Participate in training opportunities and on-the-job learning.
- Receive guidance from a line manager and allocated buddy.
- Build networks with peers, managers, colleagues, and senior leaders across the bank.
- Work on projects using MUFG’s process framework and deliver results providing value.
- Experience may support future career opportunities with MUFG.
