Senior Analyst- Credit Corporates- EMEA
MUFG seeks a Senior Credit Analyst for EMEA Corporates based in Mumbai. The role involves fundamental credit analysis, portfolio management, and collaboration with stakeholders to optimize risk and return on lending opportunities.

Role Purpose
- Cover a varied portfolio of EMEA Corporate clients with fundamental credit analysis.
- Perform annual reviews, limit renewals, and support ad-hoc and periodic portfolio reviews.
- Work closely with GCIB bankers, product partners, and credit approvers to manage risk.

Main Responsibilities
- Manage EMEA Corporate client portfolio and conduct detailed borrower and industry due diligence.
- Handle end-to-end annual renewal of limits and borrower ratings per bank credit processes.
- Perform covenant checks and prepare periodic monitoring reports.
- Create sector reports and conduct event-based stress tests as needed.
- Support relationship managers and senior analysts on new transactions and portfolio reviews.

Candidate Profile
- Minimum 2+ years relevant experience in corporate credit analysis in banking, asset management, or rating agencies.
- Experience or strong motivation for transaction-driven credit analysis.
- Extensive experience covering EMEA Corporates preferred.

Technical Competencies
- Good understanding of loan documentation and key credit protections.
- Familiarity with Bloomberg, CapIQ, and similar financial systems.
- Knowledge of market risk and ISDA documentation is beneficial.
