FSTEP Batch 31 - Market Risk Management
MUFG offers a 12-month FSTEP graduate program combining 3 months of classroom training and 9 months in Market Risk Management. Trainees will monitor market risks, perform reconciliations, stress tests, and report to committees, gaining hands-on experience in risk and asset liability management.

Program Structure
- 3 months classroom training with Asian Banking School.
- 9 months attachment in Market Risk Management department.
- Training designed to equip skills for financial services industry transition.

Responsibilities
- Monitor market positions, risks, and profit & loss for Treasury transactions.
- Report breaches of limits to management and risk committees.
- Reconcile front office positions with back office records.
- Update market rates and revalue positions.
- Perform stress tests and back testing of VaR and risk limits.

Reporting & Analysis
- Prepare net income and yield analysis for monthly ALCO meetings.
- Generate periodic reports on market risk, asset liability management, and liquidity.

Requirements
- Degree in Economics, Finance, Accountancy, Banking or equivalent.
- Fresh graduates or less than 2 years experience welcome.
- Strong knowledge of Treasury products, Market Risk Management, ALM concepts.
- Good analytical, communication, report writing, and PC skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
